We had been frequenting Thai Spice Sushi before the new owners and renovation, and we loved it then. We thought, will it be as good? Will things change? Well, not to worry, congratulations to the the new Thai Spice Sushi & Hibachi Grill! The renovations are beautiful, providing an upgraded atmosphere and more seating, not to mention another entire dining experience on the hibachi side (which we have yet to try)! The food continues to be amazing, perhaps even better than before! Service is always lovely! This is indeed our favorite restaurant and we keep going back!

i’ve been coming here for a year and i love it!!! they recently opened their hibachi side and it was the best decision they ever made. We sat with Andres and he was awesome! loved his energy and his cooking. he definitely made the experience 100 times better! 10/10 would recommend.
Very impressed. The restaurant is in a small strip mall but man is it delicious. The food was very good, the service was good too. I loved that they had such a huge variety. No fault of their own when I went it was cash only because of the internet being down all over San Antonio so unfortunately I wasn’t able to try as much as I would had liked because I didn’t prepare to have to pay with cash. I was a little shocked at the 2 up charge for soy paper. I am allergic to seaweed so always have to sub and it’s usually only 1.00. However that would not change my opinion of how amazing the food tasted.
This place was so amazing! The staff were so nice, attentive and fun, we dined on the hibachi side, and it wasn’t packed at all. I love that they gave rice AND noodles as part of the hibachi meal, and the pricing was so reasonable. The food was amazing, I can’t recommend this place enough and I will definitely be back.
Decided to do something different tonight. We have been coming to Thai Spice for 20 yrs. Thought we would try the hibachi. Well it is amazing! All hibachi restaurants have their own character but this one is fun (funny), friendly and all around entertaining! Mos cooked our food! He is hilarious! The food was amazing and fast! It was just my husband and I but he did the entire show for us. Please take the time to stop and try it. I have enough food for 3 meals. My husband usually finishes his but even he will have leftovers!!!
They recently opened up the hibachi side and it was absolutely amazing!! The food 10/10 of course, the gentleman who did the cooking was so entertaining/fun and made the whole experience awesome!! Definitely recommend doing hibachi! Favorite place to eat been going for years!! It’s also very reasonably priced! They can take my money!!
We went to Thai Spice & Sushi tonight for my daughter's 13th birthday. Thai Spice & Sushi is her hands down favorite restaurant so we go there quite often, but tonight, she had so many of her friends with us that we went to their Hibachi side for the very first time. It was hands down the BEST hibachi experience I've ever had! The service was excellent. Our glass couldn't get half empty without someone coming to fill it. The food was delicious! But the showmanship of the Hibachi chefs was what really put it over the top! They did a great job! So good that I tipped them more even after the automatic 20% tip because of the size of our party. The Hibachi chef was hilarious, engaging, interactive, and truly made my daughter and her friends feel special on her special day! We've always loved their food, but their Hibachi grill is now my favorite and was one of the hands-down best Hibachi experiences I've ever had!
